Vegas Strong Baby

We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the positive feedback and love we have received from our Vegas Strong photoshoot with Baby Wyatt. Just one week ago we posted this image and the powerful story about Wyatt’s parent's survival.

We learned of Wyatt’s parents, Markie Coffer and Travis Matheson, and their story on October 4th three days after the shooting. A video of them explaining their moving story came on the news. After learning Markie gave birth to Wyatt the day before, we were so moved that we decided to contact her to ask if we could gift her and the family with a newborn photo session.

We knew Wyatt was special. Even at just six days old he had so much strength and personality. When coming up with inspiration for the photoshoot it was clear that we wanted to honor the family and our city. The letters we used were actually displayed prior to the photoshoot in our window to show our support, I came up with the idea to use them in the photo to show that even after this horrible event, Las Vegas still shines. Baby Wyatt, for many, is the light of our city.

It is amazing to think that in one week our image and Wyatt’s uplifting story has been shared by thousands of people. We are so humbled that news stations such as Fox, ABC, pages like Love What Matters, and Babycenter.com shared this beautiful story. Thank you so much for all of the love and kind words, we are forever grateful.

As a Las Vegas based photo studio, Las Vegas is our home, we love how strong our community is. We care for each other. Out of the darkness, we are finding our light again.
